Since most door stays are fitted to external outward opening doors they are frequently subjected to damp and moist conditions which can cause some door stays to rust. Although these stainless steel stays are not the cheapest, they will not succumb to corrosion and will continue to operate effectively for years to come. 7000 Series has all components made of stainless steel and other stays have stainless steel variant.

We have a broad range of stays that can handle heavier doors in commercial or industrial settings.

These stays are suited to heavy metal doors particularly in high wind / abuse applications. The HD7000 Series (Z108HD) can handle a maximum door weight of 454kg! Most have an extra strong spring to absorb some of the opening shock when the door is opened. These door stays are widely used by utility companies, marine engineering companies, banks, and prisons where large heavy doors are installed.
