Low profile aluminium thresholds with neoprene bulb seals are ideal for external doors opening out. A “latchtrack” pattern is now available for use with panic bolts that have bottom pullman latches, obviating the need to drill the threshold.
For entrance doors, a 12mm high threshold is available in various widths up to 178mm, which can fully conceal a floorspring and leave only the extended floorspring pivot visible. A 6mm high version can be used in areas of disabled access.
