Briton 5700 Series Lockcases, Mortice Cylinder Nightlatch, Mortice Escape Sashlock, Radius Forend

The Briton 5700 series consists of a range of different lock cases to suit any door application. They are supplied with radius forends, 60mm backset and 72mm centres in line with guidance of BS 8300. Dimensional co-ordination across the range to DIN 18251 means lock functions can be easily interchanged and doors can factory prepared. Reversible latch for easy on-site handing. Have double throw cylinder action. Also suitable for bolt through furniture fixings at 38mm centres.

The 5700 series lock cases are CE marked. Tested to EN 12209. EN 1634 fire testing for 2-hour timber fire doors. EN 1634 fire testing for 4 hours steel fire doors. Certifire Approved CF741. The 5700 series lock cases are galvanised steel lockcase and the forend are grade 304 stainless steel. Environmental product declaration in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. Comes with 10 year guarantee.

5750.60.R.SS – Mortice Cylinder Nightlatch – Nightlatch function operated by a half set of levers, to retract the latchbolt from the inside. Single cylinder on the outside operates the latchbolt with a single key turn. Quick reversible latch without the need to dismantle the lockcase. Guided cylinder screw accurately aligns the fixing to the cylinder. 60mm backset and 72mm centre in line with guidance BS 8300. When fitted to timber doors the lock must be fitted in conjunction with the intumescent protection to ensure that the integrity of the door is maintained in a fire situation. Supplying and fitting the 5000.IP is essential for product compliance. Radius forend 20 x 235mm.

5760.60.R.SS – Mortice Escape Sashlock - Latchbolt withdrawn from both sides by lever handles. Deadbolt withdrawn from inside lever operation and key operation from the outside. Accepts bolt through with 38mm centres. Reversible latch without the need to dismantle the lockcase. Guided cylinder screw accurately aligns the fixing to the cylinder. 60mm backset and 72mm centre in line with guidance of BS 8300. Not to be used with a thumbturn cylinder. CE marked to EN 179 depending on handle used. Please note this is not a split follower lock so only requires a half set of levers on the inside. Radius forend 20 x 235mm.
